Continuing along the road to Summocomano, and Groppo San Pietro you come to a fork, one way goes to Mount Gioggo (1518 m.), where once there was a NATO military base and where today we can still find the enormous parables calls "radar" now abandoned: the other road leads to Lagastrello Pass (1200 mt.) along Lake Paduli.

This lake is a significant artificial hydroelectric reservoir bounded by Monte Acuto and Malpasso, formed after the building of a dam by the electricity company on the river Enza.

For this reason there are severe restrictions that have always prevented the exploitation of the lake by the tourism industry. The hiker can still find refreshments to stop during his walks. Not far away at 1241 m. height you can find the Lake Squincio.
